Study Spanish or Tsotsil (Mayan Language of the Highlands of Chiapas) at the Centro de Lenguas in the Zapatista Rebel Autonomous School in Caracol II, Oventic, which is one hour away from San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas.
The Centro de Lenguas is accepting applications for a new cycle of classes between May 8 and the end of August, 2023.
The Centro de Lenguas is more than a venue to study Spanish or Tsotsil, it is a close approach to what Zapatista autonomy looks like. The classes are offered in a context of the reality of the indigenous people in resistance.
